While sourcing oils for his restaurant business, our founder, Sibi Manivannan, walked into an oil refinery expecting business as usual. What he saw instead was a reality too easy to ignore. Cooking oils stripped of their soul. Chemically processed and artificially flavoured to make it look and taste like the real thing.

It didn’t sit right.

It took him back to a time when oils were made with care, not chemicals. To his grandfather’s backyard, where bullock-drawn mills crushed real seeds and nuts with patience. No chemicals. No preservatives. Just real oil, cold pressed slowly and full of flavour.

That memory didn’t just stir nostalgia, it sparked a mission.
