    FAQ

How fast will I receive my order?

All orders placed today will be dispatched tomorrow morning from our local warehouses. 90% of our orders are delivered 1 day. In rare cases, it takes an extra day.

Is cold pressed groundnut oil recommended for deep frying?

Cold-pressed mustard oil is a better choice for deep frying as it has a higher smoke point, making it more suitable for high-temperature cooking methods.

Regardless of the oil used, it's important not to reuse oil for deep frying multiple times. After frying once, allow the oil to cool, filter it to remove any particles, and store it in a dark place. Reusing oil for low-heat cooking, such as applying it on dosa/chapati or for a quick tadka, is a practical way to extend its usage while maintaining its quality.

Why does the oil froth when food is put in hot oil?

Occasionally, if cold pressed oil retains some residual moisture, it may froth when heated. However, this frothing does not compromise the quality or safety of the cold-pressed oil in any way. The oil remains safe to use, and any frothing does not impact its nutritional integrity.

Is cold pressed groundnut oil unfiltered?

Yes, it is unfiltered. After extraction of the oil in a wood and stone mill, the cold pressed groundnut oil is passed through multiple layers of cotton fabric to remove leftover seed sediments. If these sediments are not removed, they tend to settle at the bottom of the oil container, potentially imparting a bitter taste to the oil.

How can cold pressed groundnut oil be used?

Cold pressed groundnut oil is a healthy alternative to refined sunflower oil. The oil withstands cooking temperatures up to 160℃. It’s perfect for the variety of Indian cooking techniques. It is best suited for sautéing, and stir-frying.
